Pines Elementary Art Show

Pines Elementary School proudly hosted its annual Art Show, celebrating student creativity and imagination through a vibrant and engaging exhibition for families and the school community.

Under the direction of art teacher Meg Catapano, the show featured an impressive collection of student artwork across a variety of media, highlighting the growth of artistic skills and individual expression at every grade level. Hallways and display spaces were transformed into a gallery filled with colorful paintings, detailed drawings, and mixed-media pieces that reflected both technical development and creative exploration.

A highlight of this year’s event was the immersive “Glow Room,” a special installation featuring glow-in-the-dark artwork centered around an “Under the Sea” theme. Students and visitors stepped into a darkened space illuminated by vibrant neon sea creatures, creating a memorable, interactive experience that brought student creativity to life in a unique and exciting way.
