Pines Elementary School is thrilled to introduce Pines on Patrol, a powerful new initiative designed to make every school day start with positivity, connection, and student leadership.
Pines on Patrol features dedicated members of our Student Council who serve as official morning greeters. Easily identifiable in their green vests, these leaders are stationed in the hallways around the building as students arrive. Their mission is to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere by encouraging positive interactions, from cheerful "Good Mornings" to enthusiastic high fives which creates a supportive tone for the entire school community.
Beyond greeting, our Patrol members demonstrate genuine compassion and responsibility by offering direct assistance to younger students who may need help navigating the building or finding their classrooms.
This program is a tangible way we put our belief in student mentorship into action. By empowering our older students to lead with kindness, Pines on Patrol encourages a fundamental culture where students help students, ensuring a positive, smooth, and welcoming start for every member of the Pines family.
