Each month, Pines Elementary School celebrates its much-loved Lucky Tray Day during lunch. The tradition, started four years ago by 2nd-grade teacher Ms. Bernstein, adds a little extra excitement to the school day.
On select Wednesdays, three students from each grade who receive a hot lunch are surprised with a special tray marked with a star. Those lucky winners are awarded a fun prize later in the day!
