On Monday, December 8, students from the Middle School, Bretton Woods, Forest Brook, and the Pines proudly received the LICAB Community Leadership Award, sponsored by the Long Island Coalition Against Bullying (LICAB). This award recognizes students whose everyday kindness, leadership, and positive influence often go unnoticed, yet make a meaningful difference in their school communities.
Each month, LICAB honors students who demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a commitment to uplifting others. Hauppauge is proud to celebrate the following recipients for their outstanding contributions:
October Recipients
Valentina Herrera Falen, Middle School
Aleyna Horasanli, Pines Elementary
Anabella Niell, Bretton Woods
Luciana Saladino, Forest Brook
November Recipients
Zayden Dispigno-Robinson, Bretton Woods
Kayden Morgenstern, Pines Elementary
Elizabeth Stern, Middle School
Ryleigh Woolf, Forest Brook
These eight students exemplify what it means to lead with heart. Through their actions—big and small—they help create a welcoming, supportive environment for peers and staff alike.
Congratulations to all of our recipients! Their positivity and leadership continue to make Hauppauge a stronger, kinder, and more connected community.
