In Ms. Ramsaran and Ms. Nicholls’ Dessert Decorating Club, our 4th and 5th graders have been having a blast turning simple treats into imaginative, edible masterpieces. Each meeting is hands-on and full of smiles as students swirl icing onto cupcakes, decorate cookies with colorful toppings, and experiment with new techniques to design their desserts.
In the most recent session, students molded festive Thanksgiving turkeys out of Rice Krispie treats and added candy and chocolate details to bring their creations to life. Their creativity has been a joy to watch—and the best part is seeing them enjoy their sweet creations together!
