After-school clubs are in full swing at Pines Elementary School, and one group that’s already making big moves is The Brainy Bunch, led by Mrs. DeMaria!
In this club, students dive into a world of strategy, creativity, and fun through board games, card games, trivia challenges, and brain-teasing puzzles. They’ve already mastered Uno, Rummy, and Sleeping Queens — a fantastic card game invented by a six-year-old! Friendly competition has continued with classics like Battleship and Connect 4.
In the coming weeks, The Brainy Bunch will tackle tricky logic puzzles like the famous Nine Dot Puzzle and even bring in favorite games from home to share and teach one another.
