Pines Elementary fifth graders took learning and teamwork to new heights during their trip to the Adventure Park in Wheatley Heights on Friday, October 17.
Throughout the day, students put teamwork, compassion, empathy, and courage into action as they tackled challenges high above the ground. They learned how to safely harness themselves and navigate trails of varying skill levels – each offering its own exciting mix of ziplines, ladders, and climbing obstacles.
Students, teachers, and even parents joined in the adventure, supporting one another as they scaled new heights, literally and figuratively. Cheers and words of encouragement echoed through the park as classmates motivated each other to overcome fears and push their limits.
The day was filled with laughter, perseverance, and school spirit. We are so proud of our fifth graders for their grit, determination, and teamwork as they conquered challenges and created lasting memories together!
