Students art work was on view in the LIM History Museum from February 19 through April 12, 2026
This vibrant annual exhibition celebrates the creativity of Long Island’s young artists, featuring artworks from hundreds of students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade. Through a wide range of media and styles, the exhibition highlights the voices and perspectives of the next generation of artists, offering an inspiring snapshot of creativity in our community, and offers an opportunity to have them see their work in a museum.
Two students were selected to participate in this exhibition. Mrs. Alyson Treglia’s 7th grade student, Drew Donato’s art piece was based on a magical rainforest made with watercolors and colored pencils. Mrs. Alicia Tully’s 8th grade student, Ameera Hassan’s artwork was based on Vincent Van Gogh’s landscapes created with oil pastels.
