Hauppauge Middle School proudly welcomed 29 outstanding students into the National Junior Honor Society during the 2026 Induction Ceremony, celebrating a group of Eagles who exemplify excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
Family members, faculty, and staff gathered to recognize these students for their commitment to the five core pillars of NJHS: scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Each inductee has demonstrated a consistent dedication to academic achievement while also contributing positively to the school community.
The ceremony highlighted not only the accomplishments of the students, but also the responsibility that comes with NJHS membership. Through meaningful service, strong leadership, and a commitment to doing what is right- even when no one is watching- these 29 Eagles have already begun to set the standard for their peers.
As their names were called and they officially became members of this prestigious organization, it was clear that the future is bright. These students represent the very best of Hauppauge Middle School, and we are confident they will continue to lead with integrity and make a positive impact in our school and beyond.
Congratulations to our newest NJHS inductees. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
