Hauppauge Middle School students had the opportunity to visit the library on March 18th for a Stress Management Fair designed to promote wellness and healthy coping strategies. Held during all lunch periods, the fair gave students a chance to explore a variety of hands-on activities focused on managing stress.
Students participated in interactive stations that included creating aromatherapy lava bead bracelets, practicing yoga, visiting a therapy pet area, and exploring creative outlets like Zendoodles and mosaic design. A fidget station offered additional tools for relaxation, while other activities helped students learn how to recognize signs of stress and develop strategies for managing it effectively.
The event was thoughtfully organized by Mrs. McParland, Mrs. Abrams, Mrs. Ciserano, Dr. Arias, Mrs. Lingner, Mrs. O’Hara, Mrs. Pacileo, Mrs. Rady, and Mrs. Thompson, providing students with valuable resources to support their well-being both in and out of the classroom.
