On Sunday, March 1, the Middle School Science Olympiad team proudly represented our district at the Eastern Long Island Regional Science Olympiad Competition, held at Robert Cushman Murphy Junior High School. Competing against talented teams from across the region, our students showcased their knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a variety of challenging events.
Several team members earned top honors in their respective categories:
Jackson Schwartz & Pranav Ramkumar – 4th Place, Entomology
Rehan Ali & Pranav Ramkumar – 8th Place, Water Quality
Rehan Ali & Siddhaarthdeva Dilip Naveen Rajaiah – 6th Place, Boomilever
James Urbat & Daksh Manu – 5th Place, Hovercraft
Adithya Shastry & Shahmeer Asif – 7th Place, Scrambler
Their success reflects months of preparation, dedication, and collaboration. The team’s strong performance is a testament not only to the students’ hard work, but also to the guidance and support of their coaches, Ms. Kramer and Mr. Abruzzi.
