Before the sun was up, a dedicated group of Hauppauge Middle School students and staff gathered in the Home & Careers kitchens to help spread some holiday cheer. Working together in true team-spirited fashion, they mixed, shaped, baked, and packaged dozens of festive cookies for the Hauppauge Community Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony.
The energy in the kitchen was nothing short of inspiring. Students collaborated seamlessly, sharing responsibilities and supporting one another through each step of the process—measuring ingredients, timing trays in the oven, and designing cheerful packaging. Staff members were right alongside them, guiding and celebrating their hard work.
The result? A beautiful assortment of homemade cookies ready to be enjoyed by neighbors, families, and friends at this special community tradition. We are so proud of our students’ enthusiasm and teamwork, that paid off in the smiles on the faces off all those who received their treats.
