On Tuesday, November 25, Hauppauge Middle School kicked off the day with its first-ever Turkey Trot, bringing students and staff together bright and early for a fun run around the fields. Participants tackled the course with energy and enthusiasm, creating a lively and spirited atmosphere. Laughter, smiles, and cheers echoed across the grounds as everyone moved at their own pace, enjoying the excitement of being part of something new.
After completing their runs and walks, students and staff shared high fives and celebrated together, highlighting the community spirit that made the event so special. The positive energy was undeniable, making the Turkey Trot a fantastic way to kick off the Thanksgiving recess.
With such a strong start, the HMS community is already looking forward to seeing this event grow each year and become a beloved school tradition.
