Hauppauge Middle School is proud to celebrate the success of its newest Unified Sports addition — Unified Soccer! Building on the excitement of last year’s Unified Basketball program, this fall’s season brought students with and without disabilities together to play, learn, and grow as true teammates.
Our Unified Eagles hit the field for two spirited matches against Kings Park, with one at Roger T. Williams Middle School on October 21 and another on home turf on October 24. Each game was filled with smiles, teamwork, and endless high-fives from players and fans alike.
The team received incredible support from the middle school girls’ soccer team, students in grades 6–8, and enthusiastic cheers from the football team and many classmates on the sidelines.
We are so grateful for the incredible support from our school community. We can’t wait to keep the momentum going with Unified Basketball this spring and to continue expanding opportunities for all students to play, connect, and shine together.
