The senior members of the Hauppauge High School chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts recently hosted a special dance clinic for elementary-aged students, creating a morning filled with movement, learning, and fun.
Held on Saturday, May 16, the clinic welcomed nine students in grades K–3 who joined the high school dancers for an exciting day of dance activities. The high school students led the younger dancers through warm-ups, interactive dance games, and instruction in a choreographed routine.
The experience gave the elementary students an opportunity to learn from and connect with the high school dancers while building confidence and enjoying the art of dance in a supportive environment.
The “big” and “little” dancers will reunite to perform the choreography together at the Evening of Dance tonight. It was truly a fun, dance-filled day for everyone involved!
