This past weekend, several Hauppauge High School instrumentalists performed at the SCMEA Day of Jazz, held at Mt. Sinai High School.
During the event, students had the opportunity to work closely with this year’s guest clinician, receiving valuable feedback on their performance. They also took part in a clinic led by a professional jazz ensemble, gaining insight into jazz techniques, improvisation, and ensemble musicianship.
It was a rewarding experience and a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn from professionals and grow as performers. Thank you for your continued support of our music students.
