Acoustic Cafe

The Tri-M Music Honor Society held its annual Acoustic Café on January 29 in the high school commons, which was transformed for the evening into a cozy jazz-loft setting. Warm lighting, relaxed seating, and an inviting atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for a night of live music and community connection. Throughout the event, students shared a wide range of performances that highlighted both their talent and creativity across many musical styles.

Selections spanned generations, from classics like “New York, New York” to contemporary hits such as “Good Luck, Babe.” Each act added its own personality to the program, keeping the audience engaged and energized from start to finish.

One of the evening’s highlights was the High School Modern Band Ensemble, whose dynamic closing set brought the crowd to life. Their rendition of “Valerie,” featuring a stirring vocal performance by senior Chanelle Young, provided a memorable finale to the night.

In addition to the performances, refreshments were available, with all proceeds benefiting the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Acoustic Café continues to be a meaningful and enjoyable tradition, bringing the school community together through music. We look forward to welcoming everyone back again next year for another outstanding evening of student performances.
