Hauppauge High School is proud to announce that senior Jacob Wolmetz has been named a Regional Finalist in the 2025–2026 Coca-Cola Scholars Program, one of the most prestigious and competitive scholarship programs in the nation.
Jacob advanced to the Regional Finalist round after being selected as a Semifinalist earlier this year. From more than 107,000 applicants nationwide, only 1,238 students were chosen as Semifinalists, and just 250 students earned the distinction of Regional Finalist—placing Jacob among an elite group of high-achieving seniors across the country.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program recognizes students for academic excellence, leadership, service, and commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. As a Regional Finalist, Jacob will participate in virtual interviews with Coca-Cola Scholar alumni and program staff in the coming weeks as part of the next phase of the selection process.
Congratulations to Jacob Wolmetz on this outstanding achievement. We commend him for his dedication and hard work and wish him continued success as he moves forward in the program.
