Friends of Families Campaign

Thanks to the generosity of the Hauppauge school community, the Friends of Families Campaign once again made a meaningful impact during the holiday season. Through collective efforts, 20 local families received items to help make their holidays a little brighter.

Fundraising initiatives were spearheaded by Jess Kulesa and the Leadership Class, along with Joy Ferrara and Holidays for Heroes. One highlight was the Leadership Class Holiday Breakfast, with all proceeds benefiting the Friends of Families Campaign. Special thanks to Kim Lastuvka and the kitchen staff for catering the event and helping make it a success.

Additional support came from student organizations including the Music Department, Student Council, and Hauppauge for Humanity. Staff members also played an essential role by generously donating individual gifts and gift cards for the 31 students featured on the district’s Giving Tree.

The campaign was further strengthened by the generous contributions of the Monique Tart Foundation and the Smithtown Children’s Foundation, Hauppauge Chapter.

As always, we are deeply grateful for the continued support of our community and the opportunity to assist families in need, reinforcing the spirit of compassion and generosity that defines Hauppauge.
