Athletic Hall of Fame 2025

Hauppauge High School is proud to announce the latest inductees into the Hauppauge Athletics Hall of Fame, recognizing exceptional student-athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made a lasting impact on our community and athletic programs.

This year’s honorees include:

Lindsey Alfano Jones, Class of 2012 – A versatile athlete in volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse, Lindsey earned All-League and All-County honors as team captain.

Casey Cummo, Class of 2015 – A standout in lacrosse, soccer, and indoor track & field, Casey earned All-County, All-League, and All-Conference honors, and still holds a school record in the 4X400 m Relay.

Nick Fanti, Class of 2015 – Excelling in basketball and baseball, Nick was named All-League, All-County, and All-New York State, as well as Northeast Region All-American, and received the Ystrzemski Award before going on to play professionally.

Keri McCarthy, Class of 2015 – Competing in lacrosse, soccer, and winter track, Keri achieved All-County, All-Long Island, and All-American recognition.

Trevor Maida, Class of 2014 – A talented swimmer and track athlete, Trevor earned All-County, All-League, and All-American honors while setting school and county records. Now a coach, he has trained multiple All-Americans, medalists and NCAA Champions.

William Maida, Coach-Teacher-Advisor, 1986–2022 – Over decades of service in basketball, cross country, soccer, softball, and track & field, William shaped countless student-athletes and left an enduring legacy. He is also a proud and valuable Hauppauge community member.

Danielle Valenza, Class of 2014 – A record-setting athlete in volleyball and track & field, Danielle earned All-Long Island honors as well as Long Island Player of the Year and still holds multiple Hauppauge records.

Bobby Vitulano, Class of 2010 – Excelling in baseball and basketball, Bobby was recognized as All-American, All-Long Island, All-County, and All-League. He also holds the Hauppauge Baseball record for most hits in a single season.

The Hauppauge Athletics Hall of Fame serves not only to honor individual achievement but also to celebrate the sense of community and commitment that defines Eagle athletics. These inductees exemplify the spirit, perseverance, and pride that inspire current and future generations of Hauppauge students.
