Forest Brook Elementary students recently celebrated College and Career Week with a variety of fun and meaningful themed days that encouraged learning, creativity, and thinking about the future. Students showed their school spirit by participating in “College and Career Begins Here” wearing Hauppauge gear, “Education Takes Sweat, Determination, and Hard Work” in cozy sweats, “We Have Big DREAMS” in pajamas, “I Am Geared Up for College” in college gear, and “A Success Is What I Am Going to Be” by dressing as their dream careers.
The week was made even more special by volunteer visitors who stopped by to share their professions and experiences, giving students a real-world look at careers and inspiring them to explore their own future paths. Spirit week was a wonderful way for students to show pride in their school, have fun, and dream big about their futures.
