Journey into Native American Territory

On Thursday, November 20th, our 4th graders at Forest Brook Elementary participated in an in-house Journey Into Native American Territory. Students explored the Eastern Woodland Native Americans’ way of life, learning how they used natural resources to survive.

During this hands-on experience, students touched the fur of animals the Iroquois hunted, crafted their own clay pots, enjoyed traditional storytelling, and engaged in a variety of interactive activities. It was a fun and meaningful way to bring social studies lessons to life!
