BW Spelling Bee

Our elementary students recently showcased their spelling skills during the annual Scripps Spelling Bee, demonstrating strong vocabulary knowledge, preparation, and confidence. The competition highlighted the hard work and dedication of students across all three elementary buildings.

Following each school-level spelling bee, one student from Bretton Woods, Forest Brook, and Pines Elementary earned the opportunity to advance to the regional competition, which will take place this February. Congratulations to Nikki Mahjour of Bretton Woods, Shanaya Asif of Forest Brook, and Craig Camilleri of Pines Elementary on this impressive accomplishment.

We are proud of all students who participated in this year’s spelling bees and commend our finalists for representing their schools at the next level. We wish Nikki, Shanaya, and Craig the very best of luck as they compete at the regional competition and continue to represent our district with excellence.
