Bretton Woods Elementary School celebrated College and Career Week from January 12–16, giving students an engaging look at the many paths their futures may hold. Throughout the week, students and staff took part in themed days that encouraged curiosity and exploration, from wearing college apparel and participating in virtual college tours to dressing for success and showcasing bright colors to symbolize the bright futures ahead.
The week culminated for fifth graders with Friday’s Career Fair, where volunteers eagerly welcomed students into the gym to share their professions, experiences, and personal journeys. These meaningful conversations helped students connect what they are learning in the classroom today with the bright possibilities of tomorrow.
