Mrs. Kennedy’s class had a wonderful time crafting with the help of our amazing parent volunteers! Together, students made the cutest no-sew sock snowmen—a fun and simple winter craft that brightened the classroom.
Using just socks, rice, buttons, ribbons, and markers, each child created their own snowman to take home or display proudly in the classroom. To make these snowy pals, students filled white socks with rice to form the body, secured sections with rubber bands, and added cheerful details like buttons, drawn-on faces, pom-pom noses, and cozy sock hats. Each snowman was personalized with scarves and other decorations, making every creation truly unique.
This activity was not only adorable but also a wonderful way for students to practice creativity, fine motor skills, and teamwork alongside their parent helpers. A heartfelt thank-you to all the parents who joined in—these snowmen are just as warm and wonderful as the families who helped bring them to life!
