Bretton Woods Elementary School

The fifth graders at Bretton Woods Elementary School recently set sail on the Yankee III charter boat for a hands-on exploration of the Great South Bay! Students and parents spent the day seining, dredging for bottom samples, examining discoveries under microscopes, and even visiting the captain in the wheelhouse. After lunch onboard, everyone tried their hand at fishing and many students were thrilled to reel in a variety of catches. With gorgeous weather and a welcoming crew, it was an unforgettable and enriching day on the water!
