The Hauppauge High School pep band, kickline and color guard kicked off their annual weeklong summer camp on August 11 in preparation for a busy fall performance season.
Under the direction of band director Andrew Monsen, students in grades 9-12 came together to rehearse marching drills and the musical selections for this year’s show. The instrumentalists, drumline, kickline and color guard enthusiastically practiced a setlist featuring classic hits by Stevie Wonder.
Throughout the fall, the group will maintain a regular rehearsal schedule and showcase their talents during home football games, including the highly anticipated homecoming game and the annual Kicks for Cancer event.
