HAUPPAUGE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT SELECTED AS JUNIOR INNOVATOR IN THE "THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC JUNIOR INNOVATORS CHALLENGE"
The Hauppauge School District congratulates seventh grader Mihir Sathish Kumar on being selected as one of the top 300 junior innovators in the 2023 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, a program of the Society for Science.
To earn this honor, Mihir submitted a project, “Clean, Green Energy Machine.” Mihir is in the top 300 students selected from 1,828 submissions from throughout the United States. On Sept. 20, 30 finalists will be announced from the top 300 junior innovators. These students will be invited to finals week of the competition, held in Washington, D.C., starting Oct. 28.
