MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT, SRIHAN ADABALA, PLACES FIRST AT "NYS HISTORY DAY!"

A big congratulations to Srihan Adabala, an eighth-grader in Mrs. Campbell's social studies class. Srihan worked on a website that competed virtually in the "Regional History Day Competition" based on the theme of "Communication in History" and placed 4th.
As a result Srihan competed virtually in the "NYS History Day Competition" in April. Assisting Srihan with his website was Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Lasurdo (HS SS teacher), Mrs. Shapiro (HS Librarian), Mrs. McParland (MS Librarian) and Mrs. Gordon (Director of Social Studies and Business).
Srihan worked tirelessly on researching the "Navajo Code Talkers of WWII." At the "NYS History Day" he placed first and is on his way to National History Day" in June! Here is his website https://site.nhd.org/74346412/home.
Great job, Srihan!!! Good luck at the "National History Day Competition!"
