Hauppauge Voters Show Strong Support for Proposed Bond
On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, voters in the Hauppauge Public School District approved the proposed $58.2 million bond project aimed at bringing educational, safety, infrastructural, and athletic updates to the schools. EIGHTH-GRADE STUDENTS PRESENT THEIR PROJECT AND USE THE "SHARK TANK" APPROACH
Eighth-grade students, Giovanni LaSpina, and Ryan Lodico, in Mrs. Silbert's and Mrs. Caffrey's Science class, presented their Science project in a very professional manner. The project was on creating a tsunami warning system. The boys took the "Shark Tank" approach when presenting and even dressed the part. Everyone thought they did an amazing job! Congratulations!

SIXTH-GRADERS ARE READY TO NAVIGATE THE MIDDLE SCHOOL HALLS, AND OPEN THEIR LOCKERS!
On Friday, September 1st, the Middle School held an orientation for their incoming sixth-graders. The students started their day in the auditorium and listened to an informative talk by the Middle School Principal, Christine O’Connor. After Mrs. O’Connor spoke to the students, the Leadership Club and National Junior Honor Society students took the new sixth-graders on a tour of the school, and then to the hallway where their lockers are located.
