The Security Department is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors across district properties. This department works diligently to create a secure environment where learning and work can thrive, overseeing all aspects of security, from monitoring access to buildings to coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems, to protect district facilities. The department also conducts regular safety drills, including lockdowns and evacuations, to ensure that all staff and students are prepared for emergencies. Additionally, they work closely with school administrators to develop and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
