The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students who achieve a high level of proficiency in English and a World Language by their senior year. Hauppauge HS is proud to offer our students the opportunity to gain this prestigious recognition! The Seal of Biliteracy highlights the hard work and achievement of students as they pursue language study throughout their high school experience. The recognition of biliteracy becomes part of the high school transcript and diploma and it a statement of accomplishment for college admission.
We will soon begin to register students for a Spring Semester of Driver Education. The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the New York State Education Department (SED) have issued modified guidelines by which high schools may resume Driver and Traffic Safety Education courses. The guidelines allow for both In-Person and Remote Learning for the Lecture portion of the course and allows parents to assume the responsibility for in-car driver training.
We are pleased to again offer the Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) APP for this school year. Here Comes the Bus allows you to view the real-time location of your child’s school bus on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Please join us as we honor all active and retired Military, Police, Firemen and First Responders at Homecoming on October 1, 2022 @ 5pm Hauppauge HS Football Stadium.
