Forest Brook's Principal, Dr. Kristen Reingold, teachers and even our Superintendent, Dr. Murphy, were good sports in participating in a Pi Day fundraiser for the Rachel Quinn Children's Foundation. Forest Brook’s Student Government would like to thank all FB families for helping out with our “Soup-er Bowl” collection. We were able to donate 200 pounds of soup to Long Island Cares. We thank you for your generosity and support!
On Monday, February 6th, Forest Brook participated in P.S. I Love You Day. The mission is to bring awareness to the importance of mental health and decrease bullying. On the second Friday of every February, they encourage communities to wear purple in order to foster kindness and a welcoming environment, and educate others that mental health is just as important as physical health. On February 9th, Forest Brook celebrated the 100th day of school! Many of the Kindergarten and First grade students dressed like they were 100! The First graders paraded through the halls singing "Hip Hip Hooray, it's the 100th day!" Please click on the title to view all the photos from the day.
