    ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23RD, STUDENT COUNCIL WILL BE HOLDING A FUNDRAISER AT THE MOE’S ON VETERANS HIGHWAY.  IT WILL BE FROM 11 AM TO 9 PM AND ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE FRIENDS OF FAMILIES.  TO PARTICIPATE, BRING A COPY OF THE FLYER OR SHOW IT ON YOUR PHONE VIA OUR INSTAGRAM OR TWITTER ACCOUNTS.

     

    INTERACT CLUB WILL BE SELLING CAKE POPS FOR ONLY $1.00 ON JANUARY 28TH, 29TH AND 30TH RIGHT AFTER MIDTERM WEEK.  THE FLAVORS FOR THE CAKE POPS INCLUDE VANILLA, CHOCOLATE, STRAWBERRY, RED-VELVET AND BIRTHDAY CAKE.  THE MONEY RAISED FOR SELLING CAKE POPS WILL GO TO THE HABITATS FOR HUMANITY.  THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CAKE POPS AND THE FUNDRAISER IS POSTED ON THE FLYERS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL.

     

    PLEASE COME SUPPORT HAUPPAUGE GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 22ND AS THEY PLAY THEIR ANNUAL “THINK PINK” GAME AT 5:45 AGAINST EASTPORT-SOUTH MANOR.

     

    THE HAUPPAUGE WRESTLING TEAM COMPETED IN THE SUFFOLK COUNTY DUALS YESTERDAY DEFEATING NEWFIELD 54-23 IN THE FIRST MATCH AND WINNING AN EXCITING SECOND MATCH OVER LINDENHURST BY CRITERIA.  WITH THE SCORE TIED AT 39 A PIECE, DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE EAGLES WON 8 OF THE 15 MATCHES HAUPPAUGE WON THE MEET.  OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES WERE TURNED IN BY FRESHMAN ZAFIR B WITH AN 11-0 MAJOR DECISION AT 182LBS. AND ADAM R WHO WAS BEHIND IN THE SCORE TIED IT UP AND WON IN OVER-TIME.  PINS WERE TURNED IN BY FRESHMAN MIKEY M, SOPHMORE CHRIS B AND JUNIOR DANNY M.  HAUPPAUGE TAKES ON THE ROCKY POINT THIS SATURDAY IN THE SEMI-FINALS. 

     

    CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOYS SWIM TEAM.  THEY IMPROVED TO 5-1 IN LEAGUE 2 AND 7-2 OVERALL WITH A WIN OVER 100-69 DEER PARK.  TOP PERFORMERS WERE JORDAN AND JAKE N, SEAN R AND VITO C.  HAUPPAUGE TAKES ON NORTH BABYLON TODAY.
