Welcome to K-1, the OUTSTANDING OWLS room!

I am Mrs. Rand.  I am very excited to be your Kindergarten teacher this year!

You will love being in the Pines Elementary school. We will be learning a great deal while having fun and learning how to be our best!

 

Homework

    Dear Kindergarten Families,

     

    Homework will be M-Th of each week and we begin with Name HW: Students will be writing their first and last name each week on specific paper sent home Monday and due back by Friday.

    Math: A new lesson review practice in their workbook each night.

    Monthly packets for word study/writing practice begins in October.

    Reading Baggies will be sent home each night with their independent leveled books for students to read with your help (10-15 minutes to begin with and gradually increase their reading endurance to at least 20 minutes per night).
