Welcome to the Middle School Reading Center. I teach AIS Reading and Writing for grades 6, 7, & 8. Throughout the school year, we will be focusing on the following:

Participating in guided reading
Learning comprehension skills
Practicing fluency skills
Using adaptive technology
Reading independently
Responding to text through writing
Discovering and focusing on individual strengths and weaknesses in reading and writing
Appreciating multiple genres
Formal and informal writing
