Hello, I am Laura Gandolfo and I will be your child's teacher this year. Together with, Mrs. Braglia we would like to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! We are so excited to have your child in our class and we look forward to a year filled with learning and fun! I have been teaching in the Hauppauge School District since 1998 as a special education teacher, ranging in grades pre-k to 8th grade. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to teach in both, inclusion and self contained settings. Forest Brook is a very special place for our students, staff, and parents. Communication is key to a successful year together, so please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns! Parent Square has been an excellent means of communication and I plan to utilize that platform this year as well. Below is my email address for your records. We will also be using Google Classroom this year. Please sign your child in our Google Classroom at your earliest convenience. It is an excellent way to share videos and classwork!
