Dr. Carolyn J. Probst
Dr. Carolyn Probst serves the Hauppauge School District as Assistant to the Superintendent for Educational Services and Student Outcomes. In this capacity, she works to support K-12 school counseling, homebound instruction, education of homeless students, and the use of data to inform the educational program. Dr. Probst works passionately to increase post-secondary opportunities through the creation of a college-going culture and the development of informed college consumerism among students and families. Dr. Probst was most recently an assistant principal in the Westhampton Beach School District. She has previously worked as a school counselor and director.
Dr. Probst recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with a doctoral degree in K-12 Educational Leadership and Policy. Dr. Probst attended Teachers College at Columbia University where she earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, a Master of Education in School Counseling, and a Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling. Dr. Probst earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Law, Economics, and Political Science from American University. Dr. Probst is also a proud graduate of the Hauppauge Public Schools and is honored to serve the school district and community.
