  • The Hauppauge History Fair was Epic

On Thursday, January 18th, the Hauppauge Middle School and High School History Fair was held at Hauppauge High School.  Students competed in different categories of research projects based on the theme of Conflict and Compromise in History.  Approximately 125 students competed at the Middle School level and just under 200 competed at the High School level.  The top three in most categories will represent Hauppauge Schools at the Long Island History Day Competition at Hofstra University on March 18th.  The Director of Social Studies & Business, Doreen Gordon, said “The social studies department is very proud of our students’ efforts.  This project is a collaboration between Social Studies, Special Education, Middle School English Language Arts teachers and librarians.  They are all instrumental in the success of our students.  Please, congratulate the following students if you see them.”
