• Each spring, the New York State School Music Association gives exceptional student musicians an opportunity to perform a solo that is rated by a qualified adjudicator.  This year the solo festival will be scheduled at Hauppauge High School on Friday, May 13th , between the hours of 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 14th , 2016 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.   Students who meet the standards set below and wish to participate must complete and return this form with a check (cash will not be accepted) for the proper amount made payable to “HAUPPAUGE PUBLIC SCHOOLS”.  

    Times will be announced as we approach the dates.  All applications are now due. Students must take private lessons with a voice teacher in order to prepare for this festival. Students who are studying with a private piano teacher may participate in this festival.
