The Hauppauge Fine and Performing Arts Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive Arts Education and to develop the potential within each student. Our curriculum is based upon the New York State Learning Standards for the Arts which include literacy, creating, performing and communicating through Art, Music, Theatre and Dance.

NEWS AND EVENTS_______________Hauppauge Middle School students presented "The Music Man, Jr." to a live audience on Friday, Jan. 28 and Monday, Jan. 31. Congratulations to the cast and crew on a spectacular performance!Hauppauge HS Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Choir performed holiday favorite at the Smithaven Mall on December 22, 2021. Audience members, Students, and teachers were even treated a special guest at the end!
Congratulations to Dustin Zhao, Alexa Ingrassia, Gracie Greene, Sydney Paolillo, Rachel Ma, and Rocco Caminiti who were selected for the 2021 NYSSMA All-State Honors Ensembles.
These musicians have been selected by NYSSMA to represent Hauppauge with the All-State Honors Ensembles at the annual All-State conference in Rochester, NY. This opportunity will allow them to perform with other outstanding musicians from across New York State. Dr. Laura Landor, Director of Fine and Performing Arts, said, Dr. Laura Landor: "It is an honor to have these outstanding young musicians recognized by NYSSMA. Their hard work and commitment to their craft, even in the most difficult of times, is extremely impressive and will now allow them an opportunity to shine at the state-level. Congratulations to these students, their families, and their music teachers on this honor."The Hauppauge High School Varsity Kickline was proud to perform at the Smithtown Holiday Tree Lighting!
