Mrs. Visnius

Hi! My name is Mary Ann Visnius. I teach 6th Grade Mathematics and ELA on Team 6B. I have been teaching in the Hauppauge School District for 22 years and have enjoyed every moment. I look forward to a wonderful school year!

The mission of the Hauppauge Middle School 6th Grade English Language Arts program is to prepare students to transition to rigors of a secondary education guided by a balanced literacy program aligned to the N.Y.S Common Core Standards. Through the use of multiple genres, we will develop reading and writing skills that will in turn foster life-long learners and dynamic, precise communicators.

Extra Help is offered every Thursday morning at 7:30am.
