  • HHS Lacrosse Players Help Win Prestigious Dan Daly Cup

    Team Valor, comprised of some of the top high school junior lacrosse players from Suffolk County, defeated Team Valor, comprised of some of the top high school junior lacrosse players from Nassau County, in the inaugural Dan Daly Cup all-star lacrosse game 14-8 at Glen Cove High School in Glen Cove, N.Y., June 21.

  • Sixteen High School Athletes Achieve Top Honors

    Several Hauppauge High School student-athletes achieved All-County Honors and two achieved All-State Honors in their respective sports in the 2014 Fall Sports Season. These athletes were among the best of the best in Suffolk County and achieved this status as a result of their finish in Suffolk County Championships or through the vote of their respective Coaches’ Associations. Congratulations to the student-athletes, their parents, teammates and coaches on a job well done. Go Eagles!

  • HHS Business Students Score Top Honors at Leadership Competition

    Hauppauge High School Students recently were recognized for their participation in The Young Professionals Chamber of Commerce’s (a program of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce) 12th Annual Business Leadership Competition at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue. More than 380 students from 21 local high schools participated in the competition. A luncheon and awards ceremony also followed the competition.

  • Hauppauge High School Joins the CBS2 Weatherbug Schools Network

    Hauppauge High School has joined the WeatherBug Schools Program. WeatherBug® (www.weatherbug.com) is the leading provider of consumer and professional weather products and services and operator of the largest weather observing and lightning network. The high school has installed a new WeatherBug weather station and has access to web-based educational software tools. The station is able to provide weather data for meteorological teams at CBS 2 and news stations across the country, to broadcast online and on-air. The weather station also will be used to enhance the STEM (science, technology and math) curriculum using the WeatherBug Achieve program.
